How Does Coaching Work?

Coaching is a collaborative relationship that offers clients strategies for positive change in a nonjudgemental, supportive environment. Together, we create new behaviors to successfully manage the ADHD challenges in your life.  If you're feeling frustrated, overwhelmed or stuck, then coaching can help you.

Adults

ADHD isn’t just a childhood disorder. Symptoms continue into adulthood.  Adult ADHD is misunderstood because traits can be very different than exhibited by children. Adult ADHD is often masked by conditions such as anxiety, depression and addiction making symptoms of impulsivity, distractibility, disorganization, emotional instability and lack of focus difficult to recognize and accurately diagnose as ADHD. Perhaps you have lived with these struggles all of your life.  Possibly work, relationships and home life have increasingly become difficult to manage as responsibilities increase.  Coaching will give you the support, accountability and encouragement you need to MOVE FORWARD!  (A formal ADHD diagnosis is not necessary to benefit from coaching)

Coaching can help in the following areas:

  • Time management

  • Clarify priorities

  • Self-care

  • Life Balance

  • Relationships

  • Structure daily routines

  • Create organizing strategies at home and work
